Yesterday, my cleaner told me that she didn’t want to clean anymore.
I smiled at her and said, “Good!”.
She was worried about how I would react.
I said to her, “As long as you help me find someone else and train her up, I really don’t mind. If anything, I’m happy for you.”
I truly think she was surprised.
But only if she says no to cleaning, will she be able to open the doors to the next transition for her.
If she goes on doing something she hates, her energy will pervade in every corner of my home.
It sounds selfish, but I’d rather not have that.
And to see someone be happy and radiate that kind of positive vibes, can only be good for us all.
Are you stopping yourself from being who you want to be because you’re afraid of how someone will react?
Afraid of changing things up?
Afraid to express your desires because of how someone else will feel?
We’re putting our lives on hold for unknown reactions.
We’re fearing the risks.
We’re sabotaging the now.
Don’t do it.
For what it’s worth, those who truly love you will come around – it just takes a bit of hanging around.
